Your brewery in Garmisch-Partenkirchen History - dishes - and Bavarian brews The idea was brewing for a long time. A brewery pub is home. A regional beer identity. We wanted a place like that and a product like that. So we let the idea ferment and then went about it. Now it's here - our brewery - and we would be happy if the fast pace of life fades away at the tables and the coziness for bench pressing remains. To Bavarian brewery culture and good times, the Seiwald family and the entire team.
Our beer - with the best ingredients "Perle", "Sapphire" and "Tradition" are the types of hops we use. Every year the hops taste a little different because, as a purely natural product, they adapt and change to the conditions. That's why they are tasted anew every year. We then process them as organically certified pellets, which were not easy to find and come from Germany and not from overseas.
Restaurant & Brewery Garmischer Hof We have been brewing our own beer since 2019: Unique beers, with a lot of passion and a good portion of joie de vivre. We've been an organic hotel for over 10 years now – in 2028, the Garmischer Hof will celebrate 100 years in the Seiwald family – and in 2029, our brewing system "Berta" will turn 10. That's plenty of reason to celebrate this decade. We want to continue on this path and lead the Garmischer Hof into a successful and sustainable future with dedication and innovation. That is our goal.
