Unfortunately, the BRÄU-STÜBL and the BERGT Reichenbrand private brewery do not have their own hotel or guest rooms. However, upon request and request, we can recommend or arrange overnight accommodation at one of our partner hotels at any time.
Tradition meets the art of brewing. This is how you could describe what makes our BRÄU-STÜBL special. Because here you can enjoy the best regional brewing art “directly at the source”. The “Royal Concession” to operate a bar in the same location, which was called “Kutscherstube”, had existed since 1889. Our rustically furnished brewery inn can accommodate up to 120 guests. You can expect home-style, Saxon cuisine with seasonal and sometimes national delicacies - garnished with our BERGT BRÄU Reichenbrand!
10 types of home-brewed draft and bottled beers: Helles, Edel Pilsner, Red Ale, Heller Bock, Kellerbier, Weizen, Radler Naturwolke, Classic Pilsner, Bockbier, Dunkel
The good reputation of Reichenbrander beers has deep roots. In the hands of the Bergt family for generations, who always acted according to the best civic virtues: reliability, modesty and quality. Open fermentation has always been part of our brewing tradition. Unfortunately, this old, traditional style of brewing is becoming increasingly rare. The beers from our private brewery are not pasteurized.
Today the BRÄU-STÜBL is not only popular with the “Reichenbranders”. Its cultural and gastronomic significance has become indispensable for all guests from Chemnitz and brewery fans from all over the world. The BRÄU-STÜBL is run by Manuela Fankhänel (née Bergt), the brewery by her brother Michael Bergt. The owner began a careful “redesign” of the guest rooms in 2021. The Bergt family's private brewery in Reichenbrand is the oldest and last active, owner-managed brewery in the city of Chemnitz.
