Our comfortable rooms are equipped with a shower, toilet, hairdryer and LCD TV. The furnishings in our comfort rooms are timelessly modern and in our brewery rooms they are more rustic with a strong theme around beer. They are all double rooms that can also be occupied individually and we have our family rooms for families.
Aufseß, the central holiday resort in Franconian Switzerland for excursions and hikes and climbing and bike tours. Our brewery inn is located below Unteraufseß Castle and has been owned by the Rothenbach family since 1823 and was granted brewing rights in 1886 directly on the world record community's brewery trail. By car you can reach the nearby Obernsee thermal baths with its unique sauna area in 10 minutes. Enjoy Franconian hospitality in a family atmosphere.
The brewery now produces a variety of beers and our Aufsesser Gluggerla lemonades. In recent years, more and more investments have been made and new brands have been successfully placed, so that Aufsesser beers have now found fans beyond the region.
Now in its sixth generation, Ernst Rothenbach runs the inn and Frank Rothenbach the brewery, and like their ancestors, they have modernized, expanded, and transformed their businesses. And since stagnation is regression, and the seventh generation, Chris Rothenbach, is now steering the brewery in new and successful directions, it's an exciting time, as always. To master all of this, it's crucial that the employees are on board and contribute; we truly have a fantastic team.
