After a sociable evening, you want nothing more than a nice place to stay. Our hotel now has 18 double rooms and one single room. All rooms are lovingly furnished. Just like with our Essel Bräu, we also focus on regionality and quality when it comes to the Sauerland specialties from our kitchen - so that your visit to us is a pleasure for all the senses!

Our slightly cloudy, golden yellow beers are brewed with low-mineral Sauerland spring water and get their fine flavor from selected malts from two-row spring barley. Refined with valuable aromatic hops from Hallertau and Tettnang, our beers Helles Pilsener, Landbier Dunkel, as well as Maibock (from April 23rd) and Christmas Bock (from November 11th) get their special taste.
It is written in the beams that in 1753 beer was already brewed within our walls and brought to the neighboring pastorate for inspection. In 1988, our father and grandfather Hermann Stoetzel and his son-in-law Werner Schulte revived this old tradition and opened one of the first breweries in Germany. Over the years our business has expanded many times. How it goes on? We would be happy to tell you our story on site over a delicious beer.
